Moringa matcha-style latte
A creamy green latte, hot or iced, that turns moringa's earthy taste into a cozy treat.
Moringa looks a lot like matcha and works the same way in a latte, but it has no caffeine. Makes one mug.
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Baomor moringa leaf powder
- 2 tablespoons hot (not boiling) water
- 1 cup milk of your choice — oat milk works especially well
- 1–2 teaspoons honey or maple syrup
- A pinch of cinnamon or a drop of vanilla (optional)
Method
- Whisk the moringa with the hot water until there are no lumps.
- Heat the milk until steaming, or froth it.
- Pour the milk over the moringa paste and stir in the sweetener.
- Top with cinnamon and enjoy.
Make it iced
Whisk the moringa paste, add sweetener, then pour over ice and cold milk.
Tip
Start with half a teaspoon if you're new to moringa's taste, and work up to a full teaspoon.
